MPFC’s partnership with Pro:Direct brings a wealth of footballing capability and opportunities. For example, our academy players are regularly invited to play in the Pro:Direct Academy UK elite squad against teams such as Northern Ireland or Manchester City academy. Additionally, we can access their extensive network to connect our academy players with professional clubs and wider sporting opportunities. And not forgetting great deals on kit!
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
At pro direct academy, player development is our priority. we offer personalised coaching that focuses on improving technical skills, fitness and mental strength. With expert coaches, top facilities and plenty of match play, we create the best environment for players to grow. Our programs are designed to help young athletes reach their full potential, whether aiming for a professional football career or advancing to higher education.
PLAYER PROGRESSION
If you’re good enough you are old enough. in 2019 we had 8 Academy players in the first team squad who were involved in the FA Cup First round match against Newport County. In addition, we’ve had players represent The Pro:Direct Elite Academy squad against Japan and players go on from the Academy to sign for Chelsea and Reading Football clubs.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Athleticism, strength, fitness and conditioning is now a core component of any sport. MPFC is fortunate enough to have our own strength and conditioning coach, Ryan Augustine, who works with all teams to ensure they can perform to the best of their ability, through games, in training and in recovery.
